1)  Board approves delay in listing December (Z) 2003 Live Cattle

     futures contract.

2)  Additional Strikes for Chicago & New York HDD Options on CME

     Degree Day Index futures.

3)  Addition of the October trading month for HDD Options on CME

     Degree Day Index futures.

 

1.   1.    On Thursday, October 17, 2002, the Board approved a delay in listing the December (Z) 2003 and subsequent   Live Cattle Futures contract months until further notice.

 

2.    On Monday, September 9, 2002, the strike listings for the Chicago and New York HDD options on CME Degree Day futures month were increased to thirty-five (up and down) from the nearest underlying futures price for both GLOBEX® and block trading.

 

3.    On Monday, September 9, 2002, the month of October was added to the listing cycle for HDD options on CME Degree Day futures. Increasing usage of our weather contracts and customer demand has warranted the expansion of the listing cycle for HDD options.
